What is Nomadic Sicily?
The Nomadic Sicily Festival is a premier English event on the island of Ortigia, Sicily. Sicilian pioneers and thought leaders will share hidden secrets and unique stories of Sicily, offering the opportunity to connect with other internationally minded professionals and find inspiration.
Is it possible to work during the festival?
Yes, we will be offering space to attendees at Ortigia Official coworking space during the week and we will have spaces that you can visit near the event to take a call if needed.
How can I sign up for Nomadic Sicily?
You can purchase a ticket on our site (here). TICKET SALE ENDS SEPTEMBER 10th.
How do I get to Ortigia?
The nearest airport to Ortigia is Catania Fontanarossa Airport (CTA), which is about an hour's drive away. You can take a bus, or hire a taxi to reach Siracusa/Ortigia. There are also train services from Catania to Siracusa, from where Ortigia is a short walk or taxi ride. Visit www.trenitalia.com for schedules.
Where should I stay?
Upon purchasing a ticket we will send you a list of our approved Nomadic Sicily partners and special discounted offers and suggestive locations! In general, we recommend staying in either in central Siracusa or Ortigia.
Is accommodation included in the ticket price?
Accommodation is not included in the standard ticket price.
Is there an official schedule for the event?
A detailed event schedule can be found here. This is subject to slight changes. All ticket holders will receive an official schedule 2 weeks before the festival.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are transferable and non-refundable for Nomadic Sicily. Please email us if you have questions miche@cummari.com

Meals will not be provided. We will have planned meals together at partner restaurants and will provide a list of wonderful places to eat inexpensively or for take away while at the event.
Can I purchase tickets on-site?
No, tickets are only available online through our website, we recommend purchasing tickets in advance as we will have limited spaces available for 40 persons.
When and where is the event taking place?
Nomadic Sicily will be held from October 10th to 12th at multiple locations in Siracusa, Sicily and on the island of Ortigia (which is part of the town of Siracusa) - including MADE Art School and MOON Restaurant. Many of the attendees will be arriving before the event and staying after.
Will the festival be accessible for persons with mobility limitations?
We value inclusivity and strive to make our events enjoyable for everyone. However, we regret to inform you that due to the historic nature of some of our venues, they may not be fully accessible to individuals with mobility limitations, as they do not have elevators. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please contact us if you have any questions or require further assistance.
